Younger-Older

Digital print and wood on canvas 20"w 20"h 4"d
There is no actual point in time when we become old. It happens gradually. There is a dichotomy to each of these stages in life. With younger, we associate energy and freshness, but also a sense of being unfinished and unproven. With older, we use terms like outmoded and past their prime, but also esteemed, survivor and free to be whoever you want to be. I think a person can be younger and older at the same time. My mind feels like it's 30, but my body tells me otherwise.
